Music is in our everyday life.
What is music? Music is everything we hear that has sense there are many types of music genre like blues, country, electronic, folk, heavy metal, hip hop, jazz, reggae, rock.
They differ in many way and they influence people in many way
. Like in blues where sadness takes place. While heavy metal is characterized by loud distorted guitars, emphatic rhythms, dense bass-and-drum sound, and vigorous vocals and shows brute force. In hip hop it has the concepts of rapping, freestyle, beat box, and the artist speaks lyrically, in rhyme and verse, generally to an instruments beat. While the sound of rock is often revolves around guitars laid down by the rhythm of electronic bass guitar, and drums, and keyboard instruments, and rock has been used as a blanket term an including form such as pop music, soul music and sometimes even hip hop.
For some of use music has many meanings in our life it can bring back memories of sadness and happiness. Music is really a part of life. It sometimes shows us how we live our life, how we love some one, or how we feel in that particular moment. It’s really important to know your genre in music because that is who you really are.

Does music can affect our lives?

Well, for me music can really affect my life because what ever happened to me I just turn on the radio or my mp3 player to listen a song that can relate in my mood.

When I am happy, I want to listen to those songs that I can express what I feel. If I want to dance I choose a song that is energetic. And if I’m sad and depressed I prefer to listen in a soft sound or music that is nice to hear.

But sometimes what ever my mood is music can change it. When I’m mad or sad when I hear a nice song or inspirational I totally forget what I really feel that moment.

There is a different kind of music where we can fit to our personality. Some music has a lot of meaning that we can relate. We choose to hear a love song if we are in love. Rock music if we want to rock. And there is a lot more to choose. Music for me is a thing that I don’t want to lose in my life

How to read Basic Guitar Chords:...

Guitar is the instrument that gives us pleasant sounds in our ear.. it helps us to appreciate music more.. and help us to relaxed our selves when hearing those notes..
now its time for us to learn more how to play guitar....

Although practicing the previous chromatic scale will certainly provide you with great benefits (like limbering up your fingers), it is admittedly not a whole lot of fun. Most people love to play "chords" on the guitar. Playing a chord involves using your pick to strike at least two notes (often more) on the guitar simultaneously. The following are three of the most common, and easy to play chords on the guitar.

Playing a G major chord

This diagram illustrates the first chord we are going to play, a G major chord (often simply called a "G chord"). Take your second finger, and put it on the third fret of the sixth string. Next, take your first finger, and put it on the second fret of the fifth string. Lastly, put your third finger on the third fret of the first string. Make sure all of your fingers are curled, and are not touching any strings they're not supposed to. Now, using your pick, strike all six strings in one fluid motion. Notes should ring all together, not one at a time (this could take some practice). Voila! Your first chord.
Now, check to see how you did. While still holding down the chord with your fretting hand, play each string (starting with the sixth) one at a time, listening to be sure each note rings out clearly. If not, study your hand to determine why it doesn't. Are you pressing hard enough? Is one of your other fingers touching that string, which is preventing it from sounding properly? These are the most common reasons why a note does not sound. If you're have trouble, read this feature on getting your chords to ring clearly.

Playing a C major chord

The second chord we'll learn, the C major chord (often called a "C chord"), is no more difficult than the first G major chord.
Place your third finger on the third fret of the fifth string. Now, put your second finger on the second fret of the fourth string. Finally, put your first finger on the first fret of the second string.
Here's where you have to be slightly careful. When playing a C major chord, you do NOT want to strum the sixth string. Watch your pick to make sure you only strum the bottom five strings when you are first learning the C major chord. Test this chord as you did with the G major chord, to make sure all notes are ringing clearly.

Playing a D major chord

Some beginners have slightly more difficulty playing a D major chord (often called a "D chord"), since your fingers have to cram into a fairly small area. Shouldn't be too much of a problem, however, if you can comfortably play the other two chords.
Place your first finger on the second fret of the third string. Then, put your third finger on the third fret of the second string. Lastly, place your second finger on the second fret of the first string. Strum only the bottom 4 strings when playing a D major chord.

Spend some time familiarizing yourself with these three chords... you will use them for the rest of your guitar-playing career. Make sure you can play each of the chords without looking at the diagrams. Know what the name of each chord is, where each finger goes, and which strings you strum or do not strum.

some other tips :

Realistically, to start improving on guitar, you're going to need to set aside a bit of time to practice. Developing a daily routine is a good idea... planning to spend at least 15 minutes daily practicing all you've learned will really help. At first, your fingers will be sore, but by playing daily, they'll toughen up, and in a short amount of time, they'll stop hurting. The following list should give you an idea of how to spend your practice time:

* Get your guitar in tune.
* Make sure you're sitting, holding the guitar, and using your pick properly. You'll have to correct your natural bad habits at first, until it becomes second nature.
* Play the chromatic scale several times. Try playing it backwards.
* Play each of the three chords you've learned. Check to be sure each note is ringing. If not, find out why, and correct the problem.
* Try moving from one chord to another. Before switching chords, mentally picture exactly where each finger is going to move in order to play the next chord. Only then should you switch chords. This is the key to switching chords quickly.

Music in our lives

Whether you admit it or not, music imbeds our daily life, weaving its beauty and emotion through our thoughts, activities and memories. So if you're interested in music theory, music appreciation, Beethoven, Mozart, or other composers, artists and performers, we hope you'll spend some time with here and learn from these music articles of note for all ages and tastes.
For much of the world, music is a language, but for us it is something that we consumed passively. When I began to learn about the history of Western music, however, it changed all that for me. I have had some experience playing musical instruments, but I have never mastered one enough to really understand what music is all about. This class showed me.

When most of us think about the history of music, we think of the history of rock music. We assume that the history is simple because the music is simple. In fact, neither is the case. The history of music, whether you're talking about classical music, rock music, jazz music, or any other kind, is always complicated. New chord structures are introduced bringing with them new ways of understanding the world. New rhythmic patterns are introduced, bringing with them new ways of understanding time. And music reflects all of it.

Even when the class was over, I could not stop learning about the history of music. It had whetted my appetite, and I wanted more. I got all the music history books that I could find. I even began to research forms of music that had not interested me before in the hopes of enhancing my musical knowledge further.

A new song can reflect a new way of being, and a new way of imagining life in the world. This is what learning about the history of music means to many of us.

My article about music
Music has a way of stirring our innermost feelings and all of our senses, of tapping into parts of ourselves unlike anything else. Music is a universal language that has the ability to speak to us deeply and uniquely.
If you've paid much attention to how you respond to a variety of music, you may have noticed that some music seems to energize you, some music can move you to tears or spark a special memory of a time, place, food, or perhaps a certain person. Some music seems to make you relax, feel less stressed, and feel happier. And some music fills us with deep spiritual attunement.
Think about some of the movies you've seen. “Jaws” wouldn't be the same without its daunting, low, repetitive sounds that makes you sit on the edge of your seat waiting for the shark to attack from somewhere. Then there's “Titanic” and its gorgeous love theme that permeates throughout the movie and throughout ourselves with its bitter sweetness, generating the beauty of love and the tragedy of the massive ship's sinking and loss of so many lives.
One aspect of “healing” music is to stir our feelings, to help us deal with grief, sadness, anger or other feelings. By allowing ourselves to FEEL those feelings, the intensity will eventually lessen and even dissipate, resulting in being healing for us. When we avoid our feelings (consciously or subconsciously) they nonetheless tend to build up inside. They don't just go away. Music can be a tool to help us deal with feelings within us, whether we're aware of them or not. This is one of the wonderful ways music can be incredibly healing.

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN SONG

The world of music is a kaleidoscope of sound , it is according to master rapper Francis Magalona . With most instrument it is easy to see how different types of sound are made . Blowing a flute obviously gives a totally different sound from hitting the drum. But you don't have to watch people playing to tell a flute from a drum, or any instrument , you can recognize the sound .

Nowadays, if you want to entertain yourself and watch concerts, operas, film musicals and variety show, you can go to concerts halls, theater, cinemas, or you can just watch comfortably at home , on television. Before any song can be heard in radios, televisions or concerts, it passes through different stages.
The first stage is the writing of word or lyrics of the song and then the title of the song .It often begins with rough ideas, Some gets ideas of what to write by sitting down and thinking while others get inspiration by doing other things till the right words or ideas come into their mind. The lyrics make the song understandable and meaningful.
The second stage is the making of music in other word creating the melody for the lyrics of the song. Sometimes some professional song maker create melody first before the lyrics of the song. Most composers can imagine their musical sounds and tunes in their head , then they write their music down, to show the way of how the way of how they want it performed .Once the composer's idea of the melody is there, a performer tries to sing its lyrics with the melody.
The third stage is the arranging , improving , polishing the melody of the song and combining the melody and the lyrics of the song . Every details of the song is thought about before the final version is made and ready to be performed and interpreted by the chosen singer.
For our final touch, the last stage is the singing or performing. Everyone can sing but no two voice are alike. Once you learn how to sing, you have to practice and exercise your vocal chords to keep your voice in shape .Join a singing group , a school choir, or in church to enhance your singing ability . Most people who are gifted with beautiful singing voices consider it as a great fortune , a wealth that no one can take away from them except God.
You may create your own song by doing all of the stages.
